Godly Alternatives - Shame

(God is not an option, He gives the options and man chooses.)

Shame - the painful feeling arising from the consciousness of something dishonorable, improper, ridiculous, etc., done by oneself or another:

Another definition puts it as a feeling of guilt, regret, or sadness that you have because you know you have done something wrong

In our times and age, the word shame is a lost consciousness. The feeling of shame is getting numbed everyday. People now do shameful things but they are no longer regarded as shameful because it is now common, popular and accepted.

A base and a condemned mind is shame. It is full of guilt, sins and it lacks life, the life of God

Nudity is shame, a shame to the flesh, a shame to the glorious body that God has given to us.

Idolatry is shame, it is letting go of the real thing for a fake and incompetent one. It is a big disgrace for anyone to leave God alone and go to serve idols - of any sort, physical, family or spiritual as is common in our days and times. The idols of money, women, fame, illegitimate sexual pleasures and all other forms of ungodly pleasures etc

Hatred is a shame, God hates it.

Seeking after vanity and vain things that will not last is a shame.

Seeking the downfall of others is shame. You cannot prosper in so doing.

Seeking after other stuffs and things outside of God is shame.

Foolishness and the acts of folly is shame.

Sleeping in the period of harvest is shame

Pride and the life of pride is a shame. God resists those people that are proud - in heart,  disposition and in deed.

A lying lip and a wayward tongue that curses men is shame.

The life of sin and iniquity is shame. It is always a shameful thing.

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.  (Psalms 83:16)
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:  (Psalms 83:17)
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.  (Psalms 83:18)

Your shame should lead you to God in repentance and a change of life. What are you waiting for? Come NOW!
