Godly Alternatives - Desire

                      (God is not an option, He gives the options and man chooses.)

Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.  (Proverbs 18:1)

What is wisdom? How can a man(male & female) understand wisdom? 

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.  (Proverbs 9:10)

Wisdom, where does it come from? 

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.  (Proverbs 2:6)

What is the work of wisdom in a man? 

OK, here you have them - 

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.  (Proverbs 3:13)
For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.  (Proverbs 3:14)
She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.  (Proverbs 3:15)
Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.  (Proverbs 3:16)
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.  (Proverbs 3:17)

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.  (Proverbs 3:18)

The wisdom of God is the knowledge of the ways of God. It is to do justice, judgement and equity.

Our desire to know wisdom is a great asset that links us up with knowing God.

God has left all things to desire - if I desire Him, I will find Him. Amen
If I desire the gifts of the spirit, I will have them
If I desire His salvation and the work of His grace, I will surely possess them.
If I desire His glory, I will see it.

If I long for His presence, I will be satisfied therewith.

Therefore, where does your desire lie? I know it is already working for you but if it is not towards God, all you will reap or gain is VANITY. Think again and desire God, to know Him, to know His ways and to walk in them.
