FUTMINNA - To Deliver 3,490 Fresh Graduates

The Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger state would be conferring 3,490 graduands with different classes of degrees and diplomas at its 24th convocation.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Musbau Akanji, made the disclosure today at a press conference in Minna. He said the institution would confer 34 graduands with 1st class degrees, 811 with 2nd class upper, while 1,363 would receive 2nd class lower division degrees.

The Vice Chancellor also said the institution has been ranked as the 6th in Nigeria and 57th in Africa respectively according to the Global University Ranking.

The Vice Chancellor assured the general public that the university would continue to discourage examination malpractice and other vices amongst students.
