Cultist Kills A Man at a Bar with A Broken Bottle
A supposed
cult member, by the name Ridwan Lukman, has been detained at the Ikoyi Prison
for stabbing a man named Kazeem Taiwo to death in a bar on Lagos Island, Lagos
State.
Lukman was
said to belong to the White Island Cult, was brought before an Ebute Metta
Chief Judge, charged with conspiracy, slaying of a fellow civilian, and belonging
to an evil-fraternity.
The court of
law was informed that the accused suspect committed the crimes at an area in
Lagos Island called Alade Ogun, Ilogbo Eremi on the 25th of Feb
2015.
The prosecuting
officer, Mr. Richard Odigie, summed that the accused and the individual that
was killed, also said to be a cultist too, were drinking at a bar when a controversy
started among them.
He summed
that the controversy started a fight in which Lukman stabbed his victim to
death with a cracked bottle.
The court did
not listen to the accused plea.
The Chief
Judge, Mrs. O.I. Adelaja, ordered the accused to be detained at the Ikoyi Prison
and recessed the case to the 22nd of May, 2015.
