Turkish Nile University, Nigeria Produced 10 1st Class Graduates

Nigerian Turkish Nile University, Abuja has produced 10 first class graduates in courses cutting across science and engineering.

The best graduating students emerged at the 2nd convocation ceremony of the institution in Abuja at the weekend.

Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Huseyin Sert, said the 181 graduating students justified the vision and mission statement of the institution adding that part of the goal of the university was to produce quality graduates; skillful and experienced to contribute to the technological and economic development of Nigeria and the globe.

"We urge you to be sensitive and competent in solving the problems of Africa and the world; you owe your country the duty to project its image positively. You are the future leaders of your country and the world is waiting for you to explore and make meaningful impact," he said.

The President ably represented by Prof. Suleiman Bogoro, said the university was complementing the efforts of government toward providing quality education to its citizens.
 
He urged the graduating students to add value to the society. "Deploy your knowledge and skills to develop our nation; break new grounds in science and technology so that the much needed jobs shall be created.
