Pres. Jonathan Approves New Federal Polytechnic in Ondo State
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has released N1billion for the immediate commencement of the Federal Polytechnic Ile Oluji-Oke Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The minister of State for Education, Barr. Nyesom Wike formally handed over the letter of approval of the new federal polytechnic to the government and people of Ondo State at the weekend in Akure.
He thereafter, accompanied the Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko to Ile Oluji-Oke Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State where he met with the King of the area, who was full of gratitude to President Jonathan.
President Goodluck Jonathan in the letter signed by the Honourable Minister of State and Supervising Minister for Education, Barr. Nyesom Wike, said “the new institution is established to provide increased access to our teeming youths who are yearning for tertiary education and to provide skilled middle level manpower for national development.”
