YABATECH ND full time application for , 2013/2014 admission begins!!
National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval for Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) to run new programmes at the National Diploma (ND) level.
Yaba College of Technology now invites application from interested qualified candidates for admission through Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the 2013/2014 session as advertised for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for the following programmes
1. ND Agricultural & Bo – Environmental Engineering Technology (School of Engineering)
2. ND Marine Engineering Technology(School of Engineering)
3. ND Marketing (School of Management & Business Studies)
4. ND Polymer Technology (School of Technology)
Entry Requirements
The entry requirements into the programmes are as follows:
1. ND Agricultural & Bio – Environmental Engineering Technology
Five (5) credit passes at SSCE and not more than (2) sittings in the following compulsory subjects:
Physics, chemistry, Mathematics and English and any other one from the following Biology Economics, Further Mathematics Technical Drawings and Geography.
2. NDMarine Engineering Technology
Five (5) credit passes at SSCE and not more than two (2) sittings in the following compulsory subjects:
Physics Chemistry, Mathematics and English and any other one from the following: Biology Economics, Further Mathematics Technical Drawing and Geography
Yaba College of Technology requires Credit in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English and other one from the following:
Biology, Economics Further mathematics, Technical Drawing and geography.
3. ND Marketing
English Language (not Literature in English and Mathematics and any three subjects from the following:
Economics, Commerce, Business Methods, Principle of Accounts, Literature in English, geography, Government, Biology/Agricultural Science Statistic, History
Yaba College of Technology requires five (5) Credit at not more than two (2) sittings which must include:
Mathematics, English Language Economics and other relevant subjects as specified above.
4. ND Polymer Technology
Five (5) credit passes at SSCE at not more than two (2) sittings in the following compulsory subjects:
Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry;
Mathematics and two other one subjects from the following:
Economics Technical Drawing/Art, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agriculture Science, English Language, Metal Work, Wood Work. at least credit passes in English Language and Biology are compulsory.
