National Diploma in Business Studies
The general entry requirements is the West African School Certificate (SSCE or GCE), National Examination Council (NECO) or NABTEB with at least Five Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subjects from Government or History, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Geography, Statistics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science/Physics/Chemistry.
Please note that NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other Examination Bodies results. Also, Credit pass in Literature in English or Oral English cannot replace the Credit pass in English Language.
Higher National Diploma
The West African School Certificate (SSCE or GCE), National Examination Council (NECO) or NABTEB in not more than two sittings with Five Credits pass in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subjects from Government or History, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Literature In English, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science/Physics/Chemistry. Please note that NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other Examination Bodies results.
A candidate with National Diploma from any National Board for Technical Education (N.B.T.E.) recognised Polytechnic in the country and must have satisfied the Industrial Training Scheme Requirement.
1. Diplomats with Distinction, Upper Credit and Lower Credit must have satisfied 12 months of uninterrupted Industrial Training.
2. Diplomats with Pass must have spent at least 24 months of uninterrupted Industrial Training
CURRICULUM
The curriculum is structured into four semesters for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes of classroom and computer laboratory activities. Each Semester shall have 15 contact weeks of teaching: practical exercises, assignments, term paper, quizzes, tests and examination.
