Jonathan Appoints New Leaders For NECO, NERDC And Others

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed five new senior officials at the Federal Ministry of Education three days to the end of his tenure.
The appointments are contained in a statement signed by Mallam Sule Ya'u Sule, Senior Special Assistant to the minister of Education,Ibrahim Shekarau.
Prof. Abdulrashid Garba was appointed as the new Registrar of the National Examinations Council (NECO), while Prof. Monday Tommy Joshua was named the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) and Prof. Ismail Junaidu as the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).
Also appointed are Prof. Bashir Mohammed Fagge as the new Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Bichi and Dr. Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida.
President Jonathan will hand over power to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari on the 29 of May.
