LASU Strike or Break Again???

It has been almost a month that the University Of Lagos State (LASU) was closed down temporarily because of what we might call “election break”, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Chapter has called for the recommencement of lectures and activities.

The Union called for the institution’s council to follow up the re-opening.

Prepared V.C of the institution, Prof. John Obafunwa, had called for the “election break” in a remark, asking students to leave the campus fast until contrasting declaration is made.

Elections have been concluded for over a period of time now and still no official recommencement date has been declared.
